About Us

We were delighted to celebrate the opening of our brand new office in Port Macquarie on 18 August 2008.

Another milestone for the building & construction industry in our region, the new office enables the MBA to provide support to the industry from Bulahdelah to Kempsey.

With over 200 members within the Oxley & Manning divisions we hope to build this member base and have a strong impact within the Region.

The office is located at 2/16 Jindalee Road, within Port Macquarie's industrial hub, providing easy access and convenient parking.

A wide range of MBA contracts and other products including site signs and first aid kits are available onsite. The MBA Training Department also provides training and education for the 'Continuing Professional Development' of its members and the building and construction industry in general.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS BREAKFAST SEMINARS

The MBA held Industrial Relations Breakfast Seminars in Port Macquarie and Forster relating to Understanding Your Obligations as an Employer.  The topic was Unions Right of Entry. These seminars proved to be of great value to our members.

There will be  a series of these IR seminars held throughout the year, each on a different topic relevant to the industry.

TRAINING

Training courses are held on a regular basis in the Manning & Oxley areas. Some of the courses held include:

OHS Induction, Bonded Asbestos Removal, Safe Working at Heights, How to Write Safe Work Method Statements, Introduction to Site Safety Plans, Testing & Tagging of Electrical Equipment and many more.
